Nuevo Arenal Costa Rica isn't exactly a tourist destination but they do have some things to offer in their own right. Actually, it's probably better known for a great place to live if all the gringo's who have laid down roots there are any indication.
Since they sit on Lake Arenal, Nuevo Arenal does have a lot of water activities to offer like kayaking, fishing, wake boarding and if you didn't know, Lake Arenal has some of the BEST windsurfing on the planet. As I mentioned, there's a lot of gringo's there and many started up restaurants. Which is a good thing since Costa Rica isn't exactly known for their fine cuisine.Like this one, Moya's Place, which you don't want to miss if you're in the Nuevo Arenal Area.
